We specialise in rare, vintage, discontinued, and premium-quality electronics.
Every item is checked, cleaned, tested, and packed with professional care to ensure safe delivery.
Because of the nature of vintage electronics, our returns policy is different from modern retail shops and is designed to protect both the customer and our business.
- Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) Policy – 48 Hours
If your item arrives damaged or not functioning, you must notify us within:
📌 48 hours of delivery

You must include:
✔ Your order number
✔ A clear video showing the issue
✔ Photos of the packaging (inside & outside)
✔ A short explanation of the problem
Without video/photo evidence, we cannot process a DOA claim.
After 48 hours, we cannot accept fault claims, as the item may have been misused or damaged after delivery.
- Condition of Items Sold
We sell the following categories:
✔ Vintage / Used / Refurbished Electronics
• Cleaned, serviced, and fully tested
• May show light age-related marks
• Fully working at the time of dispatch
• Professionally packed for safe delivery
These items are not returnable unless faulty on arrival (within 48 hours).
✔ Brand New & Factory-Sealed Items
• Once opened by the customer, no returns are accepted
• If faulty on arrival, must report within 48 hours
✔ Boxed, Open-Box, or “As-New” Items
• Tested and confirmed working
• Non-returnable unless DOA
- Non-Returnable Items
Because we sell vintage and electronic equipment, the following cannot be returned:
❌ Items damaged by the buyer
❌ Items used with incorrect voltage (e.g., 100V Japan units)
❌ Items opened, modified, or tampered with
❌ Items with broken cassette doors, heads, belts, or internal damage
❌ Items returned without serial number matching
❌ Items used with mouldy, jammed, damaged, or unsafe VHS tapes
❌ Items returned incomplete (missing remote, cables, converter, etc.)
❌ Brand new sealed items that have been opened
❌ Media (VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs), cleaning kits, batteries
❌ Items returned after 48 hours of delivery reporting window
This policy protects against misused, swapped, or damaged equipment.
- Returns for “Change of Mind”
Because our products are vintage and fragile, we do not accept change-of-mind returns.
Please ensure:
✔ compatibility (PAL/NTSC/SECAM)
✔ voltage (UK 220–240V / Japan 100V)
✔ correct cables (SCART/HDMI/RCA)
✔ your TV supports the input
We are happy to advise BEFORE you purchase.
- Responsibility for Safe Use
The customer is responsible for:
✔ using clean, mould-free VHS tapes
✔ using correct voltage & adapters
✔ safe and gentle tape insertion
✔ proper ventilation during use
✔ not dismantling or opening the machine
Damage caused by improper use is not covered.
- Shipping Damage
If the parcel arrives damaged:
📌 You MUST keep all packaging (outer box, inner box, bubble wrap, inserts).
📌 You MUST provide photos and videos within 48 hours.
📌 We open a claim with the courier.
Without evidence, we cannot compensate or refund.
- Return Shipping Costs
If a return is approved:
✔ Buyer pays return postage
✔ Item must be packed safely (as originally shipped)
✔ Shipping costs are non-refundable
✔ If the product is damaged during return shipping, we cannot refund
For high-value items, we recommend:

If the item is returned damaged, incomplete, or not as originally shipped:

If denied, we will provide clear reasons.
- Exchanges
We offer exchanges ONLY when:
✔ the item is DOA on arrival
✔ within 48 hours
✔ another unit of the same model is available
If no replacement exists, a refund will be issued.
- Items Incorrectly Returned
If you return an item without approval or without evidence:
