Because of the nature of vintage electronics, our returns policy is different from modern retail shops and is designed to protect both the customer and our business.
- Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) Policy – 48 Hours
If your item arrives damaged or not functioning, you must notify us within:

You must include:

✔ A clear video showing the issue
✔ Photos of the packaging (inside & outside)
✔ A short explanation of the problem
Without video/photo evidence, we cannot process a DOA claim.
After 48 hours, we cannot accept fault claims, as the item may have been misused or damaged after delivery.
- Condition of Items Sold
We sell the following categories:

❌ Brand new sealed items that have been opened
❌ Media (VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs), cleaning kits, batteries
❌ Items returned after 48 hours of delivery reporting window
This policy protects against misused, swapped, or damaged equipment.
- Returns for “Change of Mind”
Because our products are vintage and fragile, we do not accept change-of-mind returns.
Please ensure:
✔ compatibility (PAL/NTSC/SECAM)
✔ voltage (UK 220–240V / Japan 100V)
✔ correct cables (SCART/HDMI/RCA)
✔ your TV supports the input
We are happy to advise BEFORE you purchase.
- Responsibility for Safe Use
The customer is responsible for:
✔ using clean, mould-free VHS tapes
✔ using correct voltage & adapters
✔ safe and gentle tape insertion
✔ proper ventilation during use
✔ not dismantling or opening the machine
Damage caused by improper use is not covered.
- Shipping Damage
If the parcel arrives damaged:
📌 You MUST keep all packaging (outer box, inner box, bubble wrap, inserts).
📌 You MUST provide photos and videos within 48 hours.
📌 We open a claim with the courier.
Without evidence, we cannot compensate or refund.
- Return Shipping Costs
If a return is approved:
